Seamaster Chronometers made post 1952 are one of Omega's seldom seen vintage watches. They featured all of the rugged spottiness of the Seamaster line coupled with an officially certified chronometer movement. After their release and after Omega divided the line into two models in 1952, the "plain" Seamaster, a
